seven new paintings

October 11
Rane Gallery presents 'Interwoven Illuminations' - an exhibit of poetry and paintings.
This starts with a poet writing about a Bill Rane painting - the poem goes to a painter
that paints in reaction to the poem without seeing the orginal painting.  And so on.
Like telephone tag.  Ten poets, ten painters.  This should be extremely interesting.  The last
one was in Berkeley, CA and was an outstanding event.

November 1
 Local Taos photographers Carol Farmer and Jo Carey.  Reception for the artists 5-8pm at Sagefarm.
Carol is doing intimate studies of very still life, reflecting her point in life (and maybe our
point as humans...), balanced by Jo's brilliant small captures of quiet and intimate small moments
in the world around us.  This will be a very special presentation for these two artists.
